About Jesse |
When Jesse Jonathon moved to Arcata in 2001, he found a community of active people creating a culture of cooperation. He chose to study at Humboldt State University, learning about participatory music styles and the historic relation between story, song, and dance. He currently serves the community as a music teacher at Blue Lake and Trinidad schools. He also performs locally and tours with a world beat band calling themselves SambAmore.
